This Refund & Returns Policy ("Policy") describes how Bhavani International, operating as S K FURNITURE HOURSE, handles order cancellations, returns, exchanges, and refunds for products purchased through our online store. This Policy supplements our Terms of Service and forms part of your agreement with us. Nothing in this Policy limits your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or other applicable Indian law.
1. Overview
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect product, or if your order does not arrive as described, we will work with you to resolve the issue through repair, replacement, exchange, or refund as appropriate and in accordance with this Policy.
Because we sell physical cups, mugs and tableware, returns are subject to the conditions below to ensure hygiene, safety, and fair treatment for all customers.
2. Order Cancellation
2.1 Cancellation Before Dispatch
You may request cancellation of your Order before it has been dispatched by contacting us at trade@bhavaniinternational.com or +91 98209 34721 with your order number. If payment was made online, a full refund will be initiated to your original payment method within 5–7 business days after cancellation is confirmed.
2.2 Cancellation After Dispatch
Once your Order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled. You may refuse delivery for prepaid orders, in which case the return shipping cost may be deducted from your refund if the refusal is not due to our error. For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refusing delivery without a valid reason may affect your ability to place future COD orders.
2.3 Cancellation by Us
We reserve the right to cancel any Order before dispatch due to product unavailability, pricing errors, payment verification failure, suspected fraud, or inability to deliver to your PIN code. If your Order is cancelled after payment, you will receive a full refund within 5–7 business days.
3. Return Eligibility
You may request a return within 7 days of delivery if:
- The product received is defective, damaged, or not functioning as described
- You received the wrong product, wrong size, or wrong variant
- The product is missing components or accessories listed in the product description
- The product arrived with significant shipping damage attributable to transit
Returns are generally not accepted for:
- Change of mind or buyer's remorse (unless otherwise stated in a promotion)
- Products that have been used, washed, assembled, or altered beyond inspection
- Used or washed mugs and cups, unless defective or damaged in transit
- Products with missing tags, original packaging, or accessories that affect resale
- Products purchased during clearance or final-sale promotions marked as non-returnable
- Damage caused by misuse, improper storage, or normal wear and tear after delivery
4. How to Request a Return or Refund
To initiate a return, exchange, or refund request:
- Contact us within 7 days of delivery at trade@bhavaniinternational.comwith the subject line "Return Request — [Order Number]"
- Provide your order number, registered mobile number, product name, and a clear description of the issue
- Attach photographs or video showing the defect, damage, or incorrect item, including packaging and shipping label where relevant
- Wait for our team to review your request and provide return authorisation and instructions within 2 business days
Please do not return products without prior authorisation. Unauthorised returns may not be accepted or refunded.
5. Return Shipping
For returns due to our error (defective, damaged, or wrong item), we will arrange reverse pickup or reimburse reasonable return shipping costs upon approval. For returns that do not qualify under Section 3, return shipping costs are borne by the customer.
Products must be returned in their original packaging with all accessories, manuals, and free gifts included. We reserve the right to reduce the refund amount if the returned product is not in resalable condition through no fault of ours.
6. Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect the returned product, approved refunds will be processed as follows:
- Online payments (card, UPI, net banking, wallet): refunded to the original payment method within 5–10 business days after approval. Bank processing times may vary.
- Cash on Delivery orders: refunded via bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS/UPI) to the account details you provide, within 5–10 business days after approval.
- Partial refunds: may apply where only part of an order is returned or where the product is returned in a condition that reduces its value.
Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective product. Refund confirmation will be sent to your registered email and/or mobile number.
7. Exchanges and Replacements
If you received a defective or incorrect item, we may offer a replacement of the same product (subject to stock availability) instead of a refund. Size or variant exchanges may be offered at our discretion where the product is unused and in original condition. Any price difference for exchanged items must be paid by you or refunded to you as applicable.
8. Non-Delivery and Lost Shipments
If your Order shows as delivered but you have not received it, contact us within 48 hours. We will investigate with our courier partner. If the shipment is confirmed lost, we will offer a replacement or full refund at your choice.
If delivery is delayed beyond the estimated timeline, contact us and we will follow up with the courier. Extended delays caused by factors outside our control (weather, strikes, remote locations) do not automatically entitle you to a refund while the shipment is still in transit, but we will keep you informed of the status.
9. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
If you have a concern about a charge on your account, please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. We are committed to resolving legitimate disputes promptly. Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may delay resolution and could affect your ability to place future orders, as described in our Terms of Service.
10. Force Majeure
If we are unable to fulfil or deliver an Order due to events beyond our reasonable control (natural disasters, government restrictions, supply chain disruption, etc.), we will notify you and offer a full refund for undelivered items or the option to wait for fulfilment when circumstances permit.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision. Changes apply to Orders placed after the update date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
